The curriculum is designed to empower youth by providing a thorough understanding of climate science, the impact of climate change on their communities, and effective strategies for leadership and communication in the climate movement. Additionally, the course covers essential aspects of climate finance, focusing on resources available through UNFCCC funds, to ensure a well-rounded education.

Project Management for Climate Initiatives is a comprehensive course designed to equip young changemakers with the practical project management skills needed to transform their climate-focused ideas into tangible action. Learners will explore how to define problems, set clear goals, mobilize resources, engage communities, and adapt to risks. With a focus on climate justice and inclusive action, the course also builds capacity to measure success and communicate stories that inspire funders, partners, and the wider public.

Fundraising for Climate Initiatives is a practical guide for young changemakers from the Global South who want to turn their climate ideas into funded projects. Through seven modules, you’ll explore the global funding landscape, learn how to craft compelling proposals, identify and approach the right donors, and build long-term relationships with funders. 

Along the way, you’ll also hear directly from youth like you—from climate vulnerable areas—who have successfully secured funding and established their own impactful initiatives. By the end, you’ll have the skills and tools to confidently secure resources and scale your impact in your community and beyond.
