Sumaiya Binte Selim is a climate change practitioner from Bangladesh, working for advocacy through research and working for more than five years with this focus. She is currently responsible for coordinating the Youth and Gender Program, leading some of the NELD research focus projects at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development, and advising different leading national and international organizations on different issues. She is passionate about working for policy implementation for inclusion for women, youth, children, and people with disabilities. She has experience working in Loss and Damage, displacement, liveability, climate policy, climate adaptation resilience, and governance-based assignments. She also has expertise in liveability and migration and managing projects related to the stated topics.  She graduated with a Master's in Environmental Science from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
